On Monday, 6 October Dr. Esther Pujolràs Noguer delivered the lecture Un viatge per l’Àfrica oriental: història, memòria i desig en l'obra d'Abdulrazak Gurnah [A Trip around West Africa: History, Memory and Desire in Abdulrazak Gurnah's Work], on Nobel laureate Abdulrazak Gurnah's novels at Universitat de Lleida, offering an insight into his narratives of displacement and belonging. Gurnah will be awarded a degree Honoris Causa by Universiat de Lleida on Friday, 10 October at 12h.
