Beyond Identities: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Gender

Beyond Identities: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Gender attempts at illustrating ongoing discussions on and about Gender Studies by focussing on different approaches to gender as a category to define experience, both in theory and in practice. It aims at exploring the ways in which gender interacts with – and is embedded in – socio-cultural discourses, while interrogating attitudes to gender and gender roles through the perspective of literature, TV series, or cinema among other cultural manifestations.

This book has been edited by Dr. Emma Domínguez-Rué, from the Department of English and Linguistics, and published by Interdisciplinary Discourses del London Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (2021).
