The doctoral thesis of Judith Borràs has won the Extraordinary Doctorate Award (2022) of the Territori, Patrimoni i Cultura programme. The thesis, titled L2 reading and vocabulary development as a result of a Study Abroad experience and directed by Dr. Àngels Llanes, is a made up of 4 articles and all of them investigate the impact on reading and vocabulary of a research stay abroad in English-speaking countries and in countries where English is used as a lingua franca.

The award ceremony has taken place on 8th November at the UdL.
