South African playwright Ashwin Singh, along with theater producer Shantal Singh, visited the department by the end of November. Ashwin Singh, whose work has been translated into several languages (including Catalan) and has been performed and studied internationally, offered a three-session seminar for students and lecturers from English Studies and the double degree in Translation and Applied Lingustics (in English).
